On December 6, in partnership with The Atlantic, Ambassador Philippe Etienne hosted and took part in the Jean Monnet Conversation entitled, "Ukraine and the Future of Democracy," featuring staff writers for The Atlantic Anne Applebaum and Franklin Foer. In line with the previous conversation with Josep Borrell and just a few days after President Macron’s State Visit to the US, this discussion provided an opportunity to discuss the latest developments in the conflict in Ukraine, which directly impact the transatlantic relationship and the larger international scene.
